A brief history
The initiative was created by Krisa Cantrell, MPH in 2025, to support her mother, Renda Smith, and her trained service dog, Mojo. After witnessing repeated access issues caused by misinformation, Krisa launched Mojo’s Mission to bring clarity, compassion, and confidence to Amarillo’s service dog policies. Amarillo is our pilot city for Mojo's Mission.
